Olay Regenerist Moisturiser

Hi There Flawsomes!

Many of you out there are Olay fans, so when I got my hands on someOLAY REGENERIST 3 point day cream MOISTURISER, I was really excited to tear open the container and try it for myself.

With its SPF30 to protect from harmful UV rays and other skin firming ingredients, it’s exactly what I look for in a good day cream and they say that after 5 days my skin should feel firmer.  So to give it a fair review I stopped using my other regular day skin care products and solely used this Olay Regenerist Moisturiser for 2 weeks.

As directed, I smoothed the Olay 3 point day cream on to my face and neck every morning ……….. and it really wasn’t for me!

I’ve taken a photograph with some of the product on top of the cap so that you can get some idea of the consistency.  It’s a fairly thick, cream coloured, moisturiser with a very pleasant smell.  It felt sticky and tacky and much too heavy for a day time moisturiser.  As I’m writing this post, I’ve just put some on to the back of my hand and even minutes later it still feels tacky……..

I stuck with it though and used this moisturiser for the whole 2 weeks to see if I could see any skin firming benefits and I can’t honestly say there was any difference in my skin texture either……  By the end of the 2 weeks I actually sub-consciously muttered “YES!” as I opened up my normal brand of skin care products and began putting it on my face.

Now, maybe it’s just me….. this product gets very good consumer reviews and has the Good Housekeeping READER RECOMMENDED UK 2016 seal of approval……. but comparing it to the other skin care products I’ve personally tried in the same price bracket, I would use Boots No 7 Protect and Perfect anyday.
